All are welcome on an afternoon to play air hockey, foosball or ....whatever you would like to play. In the spirit of gaming, the newest addition to our gaming collection was the Wii. I will admit it, I was the hold out. I am not a huge video game lover. I want people to get their bums, off of the sofa, and on their feet. I want interaction with people not tvs. I want ....
Well, forget what I want, Wii arrived and I love it. I love that you DO get off of your behind, off the sofa, and on to the floor. I love bowling at three in the morning in my jams or tossing bballs with friends at three in the afternoon. I am a convert and I get it! I love Wii.
Our family favorites include the sporting series of football, baseball, bowling (is that a sport?), and basketball. As you know the games are many and available for all levels of play and for many interests.
We loved the idea of moving a traditional computer word game to a much larger screen for the guys to play together, instead of alone. Our goal is all about getting people to do things together, we want interaction and socialization. Wii offers that for our family.
So, if you like me are a Wii holdout, give it a chance. Visit their site, visit a store and just play ... Better yet, Come on over to my house. I will be the one in the pink jammies, trying to beat cutest hubby's top bowling score. ....enjoy!
