Okay gang, I admit it, I am hooked ....I have stayed up late and watched the cutest Shawn Johnson twirl and flip! I have screamed and yelled with Cutest Hubby, as Michael Phelps grabbed a gold. I have cried with moms and dads, as their kids stood on the podium representing our country. It has been a fun Olympics to watch, don't you think?
Aside from the games, I have enjoyed some of the advertising. I love the GM commercial featuring Brandi Carlile's, "The Story" . Great job. (read her blog on myspace to capture her vision of the branding and why she okay'd the partnership!) The other commercials that will keep me in the room are the Coca-Cola spots. It must be the real thing, thing.
Admittedly, I am a Coca-Cola person. NO, I don't really enjoy the soft-drink, but I love the logo. I adore the advertising from the 1940's and 50's. Among my own fav treasures are a few battered, diner tin signs from the 40's. ....Anyway, all of these commercials had me running to the Coke web site ....you should visit too.
If you too, are a fan of that little green, glass bottle and all that it holds, you may just enjoy designing your own Coca-Cola bottle. You can spend time here, so be forewarned. The results are fun and you can view the designs of other "artists" too. Your kidlings may enjoy this bit of computer fun. As you would expect, the Coke site is large and cherry and bright and offers lots of information and activity. I liked the shop!
My favorite spot to play was the "home" section, loved the art offerings ....Great prints of all eras and all countries .....Fun! The Coke shop is huge, huge and offers clothing, house items, furniture and more, well priced and many items are on sale for a mere song ....I'd like to teach the world to shop ...Wait, that is my song ...enjoy!
