Cutest Hubby and I,are planning a week of small trips and outings for our family. With summer coming to an end, a few of our preferred destinations were cutting their hours or closed entirely. We scoured web links and purchased tickets for several venues. We kept noticing one thing popping up on most websites, The Auto Club.
I have been a member of the The Auto Club or AAA Club,since the day I received my first license. As are most teens, I was added on to my parent's membership plan. After college, I purchased my own membership, and have kept it going. Not really thinking about anything more than a tow or a jump. I never really thought of discounts. Do you?
We knew that AAA offered discounts, but I had no idea that they were so many or so varied. Consider these:
- 40% off at Reebok outlets, for a week or two, in September.
- 10-20% off at car rental locations
- 5-10% off amusement parks and zoos thorough out the country.
- discounts at fashion stores, including 15% off at New York and CO. (who knew?)
- Hotel and other travel discounts
- restaurant discounts
I had no idea that a AAA could save me money on a pair of jeans at the mall or a pair of running shoes at an outlet .... How fun for us.
