Chrissi B! Dover publications has done it again ...

Obama? McCain? Which presidential candidate do you find most worthy? No! Not for president of course, which candidate is most worthy of being a paper doll? Which guy has the best clothing choices and which wife has the best outfits? .....Paper of course!

Time to get out the scissors, grab some bling and let's get cutting ....Dover Publications has issued their latest presidential set of paper dolls .... I love paper dolls. Don't you? The simplicity of cutting and folding. Pasting and gluing. Adding a bit of extra color or design ....You are in charge and if you don't like it...It's paper! No worries here. It's a history lesson disguised as fun.

I have purchased many books of Dover paper dolls through the years. I love the illustrations. The price point is great and it is a fun way to play and chat about people at the same time. Sneaking in a bit of history is always a good thing...Many presidents have been graced with their own book of paper dolls through the years. George Bush, George Washington, Bill Clinton, Ronald Regan and Lincoln each have books. The Kennedys have several offerings and there are books for first ladies too.

Each offering is about 32 pages of full color illustrations, ready to cut, and decorate .....A history lesson in fashion for well under ten dollars. Many books are on sale for under five dollars each. Dover is well known for their unusual assortment of copyright free books and arty offerings. Sign up for a catalogue and enjoy the adventure .....Now, where are my scissors, oh and I will need some rhinestones and a bit of .....have fun!
