One of the best indulgences of a hot summer day is a frozen treat. I love anything frozen, as in yogurt and ice cream. I enjoy the offerings of Pinkberry. Love the choices at my favorite, The Golden Spoon. But I find that ice cream made to order at home, is the best of all!Making ice cream seems like a huge undertaking for me, but if you are so inclined I found a few great recipe searches, that you may enjoy.
One site that I love to frequent is Serious Eats! In the midst of the rants of raves of some serious 'foodies", you will find a summer page of ice cream recipes and tips. I am loving the writings about the best ice cream shops and the best ....Well, you must just check it out.
