Chrissi B! The magic of Joni .....

Each day as I read my emails, I find an email from a friend I have never met, yet I feel as if we are good friends and I have known her for years. Each day as I open my emails from Joni, I feel as if I am opening a letter from one of my life friends. You know, the girls who saw you through the terror and tears of first love.

But Joni and I have never met. I have read her mail. I have read her writings, yet we are strangers on the street. I simply belong to an email service that she offers on her site, Joni and friends.

Joni Erickson Tada may be familiar to many of you. She is a wonderfully talented artist. Her watercolors are wispy. Her pencil work is impressive, but even more impressive is how she paints. You see, Joni cannot use her hands to hold a brush, so she skillfully holds her instruments in her mouth. Joni, is quadriplegic.

Thirty years ago, Joni was hurt in a diving accident. She spent two years in rehab and has gone on to write, minister and paint. Her love of the Lord pours out of her teachings and her faith must move mountains, as it is quite impressive.

Each day when I find an email from my friend Joni, I feel as if she is writing to just me. She knows me. She knows just what I am stressing about and she offers comfort. Her writing in truly an inspiration.

Joni and her company offer wheel chairs to children and adults around the world. They provide comfort as well as information. She is a "mighty might", as Cutest Hubby would say. I would hate to get in her way as she seems a force to be reckoned with.

Joni is a fighter and offers true inspiration.

Visit Joni and Friends. Shop her greetings and offerings. You too will be impressed. Sign up for her email service. Make a new friend today! ...enjoy
