Chrissi B! Huge Sale on Halloween fun at Pottery Barn Kids!

I do not sew. Have we talked about that before? No, I don't think so. Or is it sew? (Just kidding, I am a bit wacky today, beware ...) Oh, I can sew a button on, make a Christmas stocking, or whip up a pair of panels, but I cannot sew a proper pillow or make a dress. You know, I have just enough skill to get me annoyed at what I cannot do properly.

I would love to master a quilt. You know the ones ....All one color with lots and lots of small, painful stitches. The quilts of my grandmother and aunts. The grand quilts.

I would also love to make wonderfully silly Halloween Costumes. Layers of gossamer and yards of faux silk that dance as the fairy princess runs from the evil dragon. I did conquer a clown costume once, but I was young and had no fear.

If you too, love the look of something sewn, consider a visit to Pottery Barn Kids. There are Halloween costumes to amuse and scare, all with a "homemade" simple touch. The treat bags are not your usual big box selection and many can be used far after Halloween, as a gathering place for crayons or small toys. (Love the oil can.) All can be personalized and are well priced.

Pottery Barn Kids is offering a 20% discount on Halloween costumes and treat bags as well as free shipping on many items.

If you too love the look of hand crafted and are without friends who sew ....Run with me to Pottery Barn Kids and we can pretend our way into a lovely Halloween. ...enjoy!
