Chrissi B! the philosphy of bubble baths ....

It is no secret that I love a bubble bath. As I have mentioned before, search me out around ten each night and chances are ....You will find me in a mass of bubbles.

I stock a pretty fair supply of bathing wants. Potions, lotions, candles and scrubs, each have their place in my bathing repertoire. The other day I opened my newest philosophy shower gel/shampoo and instantly I was four again.

One small whiff of the coconut shower gel and memories play with my senses. Flashback and I was four again, sitting in my childhood kitchen . I patiently, watch my mother frost a lovely coconut cake. My mom had spent the morning baking this masterpiece. She was a beautiful dessert. All white and covered with a swirly, sticky frosting. She stood proudly atop my mom's best crystal cake stand, temping and teasing me. She had me. She smelled wonderful. She looked sweet. She was ....Mine!

I was mesmerized. I had never seen a cake like this. Franky, I am not sure that I had ever seen a cake before that was not chocolate. This was no chocolate cake. She was delicate, she was a mystery. I wanted to taste this cake, but this wonder was not for us. Not for us?

No, this treasure was for some party, somewhere, where I was not invited. Who could have a party without me? I digress, as I still do not understand THAT one .....

Back to the bubble bath ....philosophy shower gels come in an ever changing variety of scents. Coconut Frosting, that may transport you back to your youth, as it did mine. Cinnamon Buns, a best seller and a great treat for an Autumn bath. Frango Mint, a treat for Marshall Field lovers and those from the Pacific Northwest, all choclately and minty.

You can find philosophy shower gels online, Nordstrom, sephora (they have a wonderful selection of a variety of scents to amuse) and Macys, (they offer the fabby birthday cake scent which is a fun gift). The gels work as a shower gel, bubble bath or shampoo. They are priced at about $16., and they are fun! ....enjoy!
