A few months ago, the lovely Lynn introduced me to tea flowers. Now, I have found TeaPosy and Blooming Tea as just a few examples of this luxury. As the temps begin to drop around the country and the evening searches for a bit of a chill, Tea seems like the perfect end to a long day.
I love the ceremony of a good up of tea. For me, my tea must be poured in only a few selected cups. Feeling "a bit out of sorts"? ....That is the very large, British, clock themed cup and saucer, that I purchased on an adventure in New York. Just a bit "chilled"? Oh, that is the hefty, red mug that Cutest Hubby gave me one Valentine's Day morning. How about a bit social? Then, out come a set of my mom's cups and saucers from Luxembourg. Each very whimsical and each hold a memory.
If you too enjoy the traditions of a good cup of tea, then consider either Tea Posy or Blooming Tea for yourself or a gift. Blooming Tea is a green tea. Their web site explains: " Natural green tea leaves are gathered around a flower or cluster of flowers. They are then hand tied, wrapped in cloth and dried. This gives the tea balls their individual shapes. The flowers gently influence the flavor of the tea."
What this means to me .... You place a lovely dried bloom in a delicate tea pot with hot water, and as the bloom absorbs the heated water, the flower opens, the water is infused with flavor and most important .....It is pretty. Love it.
These well priced blooms are great gifts. Tea sets can be purchased as well as the individual teas. Many flavors are available.
Put your feet up, grab a book and enjoy a cup of tea. Perhaps, we can each squeeze out fifteen or twenty minutes ..........enjoy!
... I found several wonderful sellers of Teaposy and other brands of flowering teas. A simple google search will amuse your true tea needs ....

Just wanted to give you an FYI about a site that has several Flowering Tea Balls. I never knew there were so many different ones.
