The latest issue of Lucky magazine, landed on my desk the other day. Chocked full of fashion finds and fall must haves, it was a nice diversion from the bills. Running through the pages, I found myself giddy with the anticipation of fall and all that it holds.
All "plummy" and alluring, September's Lucky issue offers all the trends and looks that you would expect from a fall offering. I love the 50 Los Angeles Boutique article ...fun times with the girls.
When I was a teen, I adored buying the fall fashion mags. Each Vogue, Glamour, and Elle held new treasures to discover, new trends to tout. Keep in mind, I was still shackled in the school uniform of my nightmares, and fashion finds had to be "approved" and within code. My mind wandered, my dreams danced, one day I would be able to buy all the fall items of my choosing and I would wear all the leathers, wools and suede, that my little heart desired.
Reality sets in, and my life parades on ...The leathers and suede of my dreams, now seem temperamental and bulky. The knee high boots, seem a bit overdone for a trip to the Kroger, yet, my imagination still likes to dance ..... Pick up the latest copy of Lucky magazine. The finds are flirty and we all need to dance a bit ....enjoy!
