Yesterday, I chatted with you about Skinit. While introducing their great protective skins for all of your hardware needs, I showcased the work of Jorge Oswaldo.
His work amazes me. I am so impressed with both the concept and the execution, that the use of the medium escapes me. When I realized the medium Jorge uses, I am amazed. Look closely, Mr. Oswald's work is not of pen or paint, it is vinyl. Layered, cut and pieced vinyl. Can you imagine? I cannot.
Frankly, give me too much scotch tape, and we have a problem. Vinyl? Don't even think about it!
Take a moment, visit Jorge's site. Check out his use of small pieces and swirls, cut with precision. Be impressed! He has a few shows coming up in southern cali, I think it would be worth a ponder. ...enjoy!
